About the bike
The bike chosen is the 22" frame version of the Revolution Cuillin Sport '08 from the Edinburgh Bicycle Co-Operative on Bruntsfield Links (which is in Edinburgh strangely enough) - if you'd ever wanted to join in a scrum of 300+ lycra-clad people, it's the place to go! I think that pretty much anything you could ever want for anything cycle-related they will have it. I don't think there was a single item that I needed/wanted that they didn't have in stock (and more to the point a choice of them at multiple price points). At no point in the future will the Paper Boy be clad in lycra, for public taste, decency & safety reasons - the outside world is not ready for him in shorts never mind in lycra!
To the basic bike, I've added lights, a pump, a crud catcher mudguard and an odometer (primarily so I know how far I've been). A puncture repair kit (possessing one will probably stop any puncture ever happening of course which suits me) and a helmet complete the picture.

That's a bit strong - I'm not a cyclist - I'm a blob'o'lard!
