Formerly: A round up of some of the more parochial stories from some of the local weekly newspapers in the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. A brief outline of the stories you may have missed, the stories that really weren't stories in the first place and the stories that you wish you'd missed.

That's a shame. My friend Oliver and myself have enjoyed visiting your site and were hoping that you'd be interested in our new book.
Our new 152 pps book: 'Round Eyemouth - a guide for visitors and locals, has just arrived from the printers (retail price £7.99). The book covers the coast from Alnwick to Dunbar and inland as far as Coldstream and Duns. There are over a hundred photos and dozens of maps geared specially for walkers and cyclists, plus places to visit for motorists. It's fairly leftfield in parts - so not quite your average guidebook!
